Mimulus, called Mimule in French, is the Bach flower of confidence
More than a plant, the mimula brings together nearly 180 species which come in the form of annual plants, perennial plants and shrubs. One of them is used to create the famous Bach flower Mimulus, whose virtues help to control, among other things, emotions.
From a purely botanical point of view, the mimula is a herbaceous plant which particularly appreciates warm and humid environments such as rivers, lakes or marshy regions. Its roots constantly fighting to keep the flowers on the surface of flowing water, this plant is known for its courage and its taste for risk. It is found mainly on the American continent, but also in Asia, South Africa and Australia.
The mimic is sometimes referred to as a “monkey flower” because certain species display a morphology that resembles a monkey’s face. Others are nicknamed “musk flowers” in reference to their fragrant scents. But the most widespread species remains the Mimulus guttatus. This perennial with evergreen and jagged foliage proudly displays its yellow flowers tinged with red and typically grouped in clusters. It flowers from summer until fall. An annual plant, this prominent member of the Scrophulariaceae family can reach up to 80 cm in height when it flourishes in ideal sunlight conditions.

Grape alcohol 27% v/v, aqueous solution of flowers, leaves and bark of Larix decidua Mill. (1/500 dilution).
Description
You would like to start a task with more self-confidence, you have the feeling of not being up to it.
Bach flower Larch contains aqueous extracts of Common larch, also known as European larch. In French, we speak more of European larch, common larch or even Briançon pine. Its scientific name is Larix Decidua.
This tree is very special, because it is the only deciduous conifer in Europe. It does have needles, like the others, but they do not manage to “persist” all year round: a bright green in spring, they darken during summer, take on a very beautiful golden yellow color during autumn then eventually fall… The larch becomes covered with needles again during the many springs of its life: in good conditions (it likes the sun and damp, cool soils), it can live up to five hundred years. Its growth is rather slow, but, over time, it can exceed thirty meters in height in a natural environment. As for its bark, it is gray in color and can have numerous cracks.
Note that many people decide to dwarf the Larix decidua in a pot: its yellow (male flowers) or pink (female flowers) flowers are in fact very popular with bonsai lovers.

I feel like I’m on edge when things don’t go fast enough!
Ingredients
Grape alcohol 27% v/v, aqueous solution of flowers of Impatiens glandulifera Royle L. (dilution 1/500).
Description
You feel impatient and easily on edge, you don’t like slowness
Himalayan balsam, giant balsam, grainy impatiens, Himalayan balsam… Under all these names hides one and the same plant: Impatiens glandulifera. Originally from Kashmir and Nepal, it was introduced into France during the 19th century: quick to grow and spread against all odds, it adapted very well to the French environment. Perhaps even a little too well, because since the 20th century, this plant has been considered an “invasive” species…
The grainy impatiens is nonetheless a very beautiful plant: look for it near waterways, in full sun or in areas that are half-dark, if you want to admire it. You will recognize it by its quite impressive size – it can reach up to two meters in height and around sixty centimeters in width –, by its serrated leaves and above all, by its superb flowers, blooming from July to September. They can take different shades: pink, pale mauve, red…
Note that the “fruits” of this plant are very particular: they form very long, striped capsules. When they break off, they release numerous seeds at high speed several meters away, making Impatiens glandulifera a fast-spreading plant.

Hornbeam, called Charme in French, is a Bach flower full of surprises
The Bach Hornbeam flower, also called hornbeam, is a somewhat unusual flower: it only germinates after two or three years. Unlike many other plants, its flowering does not take place every spring. Despite its slowness, it can be sudden and very beautiful. Some species of Hornbeam, for example, produce superb purple flowers from April to June. However, most of the time we find catkins, which are a type of hanging, yellow and green flowers at the end of the hornbeam branches as soon as the sunny days arrive.
The hornbeam stays looking good whatever the seasons. If its toothed and pleated leaves are a tender green in spring and summer, they take on beautiful yellow and orange hues in autumn and remain attached until the foliage renews. Very resistant, it adapts to all soils and does not need a lot of light. Its roots, very dense and deeply anchored in the soil, allow it to live up to one hundred and fifty years, and to be very little susceptible to diseases.

Description
You are attached to the past and you are homesick, you have the feeling of regretting missed opportunities
It is at the very end of the year that the honeysuckle, Lonicera caprifolium, gives new leaves, as if to symbolize renewal and the importance of moving forward. Honeysuckle, Honeysuckle in English, of the Caprifoliaceae family, is a woody climbing plant which grows spontaneously at the edge of the woods and which is grown alone or in a hedge, generally trellised. Imperturbable, honeysuckle is very appreciated for its ornamental and olfactory advantages as well as for its hardiness, because it withstands temperatures around -20°C.
In purely botanical terms, honeysuckle can grow up to four meters in height. It has twining branches, deciduous foliage composed of leaves with a glaucous underside and a dark green obverse. Its multiple flowers in corollas from straw yellow to white, subtly pink in color, bloom from May to the end of July and exude an even more powerful bewitching scent from sunset to sunrise. It is also during the night that pollinating insects gather nectar on honeysuckle flowers.

The Bach Holly flower comes from holly, a plant particularly sought after during the Christmas period. Indeed, this shrub is full of vigor from November, and remains colorful and full of life until March. It is known for its spiny leaves with sharp tips. The latter can look like little hearts, while the flowers, which appear during the months of May and June, are very pure white.
Holly is a slow-growing plant that can live for almost three hundred years. Although this shrub often measures a few tens of centimeters, it can sometimes reach several meters high, particularly by clinging to other trees. Very resistant, Holly can grow in the shade as well as in the sun, and its evergreen foliage makes it a symbol of strength.

The Bach Heather flowers grow on heather, a name that actually refers to more than 800 species of plants. These flowers, whose colors range from white to purple through pink and red, are grouped in clusters along the stems. They appear in July, and remain colorful and full of vitality until November. Then, although their color may turn brown, they cling and stay on the plant during the winter months, resisting the cold and rain.
Heathers are small shrubs that never exceed a meter in height, and which particularly like siliceous soils. Although they are found a lot in sunny places, they are known to spread over moors, peat bogs and even pine forests. They can therefore easily grow on poor soil, while remaining dense and flowery. Very present in France, heather is associated with numerous myths and superstitions, always playing a positive and protective role.

We find the Bach Gorse flower on gorse, shrubs that grow throughout Europe, but also on the American continent and in Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to its density, its thorns, but also to its small scale leaves which protect it, gorse quickly becomes impenetrable.
Bach Gorse flower can bloom as early as fall, bringing color as the winter solstice approaches. Indeed, it has bright golden yellow petals, which can give off a very pleasant smell when they are soaked in sunlight. Its small flowers made up of five unequal petals resembling butterflies then continue to bloom until spring, resisting the vagaries of the weather whatever happens. They are found in great numbers from March to June, illuminating the edges of the paths when the sunny days arrive. Recognized for its beauty and strength, gorse is also nicknamed Breton gold, and has become the official emblem of Brittany, while its flower has been designated as the flower of the nation in Galicia, North-West region from Spain.

Description
You feel like you are easily discouraged and quickly disappointed; you feel like you lack perseverance in the face of life’s difficulties.
Gentian actually refers to around thirty species of flowers found throughout Europe. Sometimes cultivated in gardens, it is above all a wild plant. Often a very rich and deep blue color, it catches the eye. With its long tubular corolla, its shape is also very particular, because it resembles a trumpet. It most often measures fifteen to twenty centimeters and generally grows in groups.
The Bach Gentian flower is a strong plant, which can cope with sometimes difficult soils, particularly limestone, because it is found mainly in the mountains, in meadows, but also on cliffs or dunes. She also has a remarkable capacity for adaptation. In fact, it closes in on itself when it rains or when it feels a cold spell coming. A movement that can be very rapid when necessary, only around twenty seconds. In order to survive, it can also remain closed for a long time, until the temperature rises or the rain stops. It then opens its petals to the sun, determined to soak up the heat.

Elm, called Orme in French, is a Bach flower full of vitality
The Bach Elm flower is a bright color, in shades of red that we easily associate with vitality and dynamism. These are flowers composed of glomeruli, that is to say juxtaposed petals. They are arranged in an umbel, a shape open to the outside, with a radiant appearance, and swing at the end of thin short stems attached to the trees. The Bach Elm flower blooms before the arrival of spring, in February, and remains in flower for about three months.
They are found on elm trees, which are native to Great Britain. Its deciduous leaves can be recognized by their green color and their simple, oval shape, with serrated edges. These trees, whose wood is very resistant, can reach thirty meters in height and live for several hundred years, which gives them a robust appearance. If in the past it was very present on the main squares in villages, the elm is becoming rarer today. It is found in several European countries, preferably in sunny regions, because it particularly likes rich and fertile soils.
