Description
Fleas present on the dog are killed within a day following treatment. A single treatment prevents flea reinfestations for four weeks. The product has persistent acaricidal and repellent effectiveness against tick infestations (R. sanguineus and I. ricinus for four weeks and D. reticulatus for three weeks). Thanks to its repellent and acaricidal action on the Rhipicephalus sanguineus vector (tick), the product reduces the risk of transmission of the Ehrlichia canis pathogen, and thus also reduces the risk of canine ehrlichiosis.
Studies have revealed that this reduction in risk begins 3 days after application of the product and persists for 4 weeks. Ticks already present on the dog at the time of treatment may sometimes not be killed for two days following treatment and may sometimes remain attached and visible. It is also recommended to remove ticks present during the application of the treatment, in order to avoid their attachment and taking a blood meal.
A single treatment provides repellent activity (anti-engorgement) against sandflies (P. papatasi for two weeks and P. perniciosus for three weeks), against mosquitoes (A. aegypti for two weeks and C. pipiens for four weeks) and against stable flies (S. calcitrans) for four weeks.

While the dog is not moving, apply the entire contents of the Advantix Dog Pipette evenly to four locations all located on the back line, between the shoulder blades and the base of the tail. Part the hairs in each area until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to empty some of the contents directly onto the skin.
