General description

Arnica-Phar® Gel is a health product for external use based on Arnica montana extract.
It can be used in particular in the event of:
• bruising following a blow;
• swelling/bumps resulting from bruising;
• muscle and/or joint fatigue.
Arnica Montana is traditionally used in herbal medicine in the local treatment of mild trauma in adults and children from one year of age.

How long should I use Arnica-Phar® Gel?

If you used more of this product than you should?
• If you have applied more gel than necessary, wash the skin with soap and water;
• If you or your child have accidentally swallowed the gel, contact your doctor immediately, or the Anti-Poison Center (070/245.245);
• If the gel comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the eye or both eyes with water for 15 minutes.

If you forgot to use Arnica-Phar® Gel?
Apply Arnica-Phar® Gel as soon as you realize you forgot. Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Indication

Unless otherwise prescribed, apply Arnica-Phar® Gel 2 to 3 times a day on the skin areas to be treated.
Massage lightly until the gel penetrates.

Always use this product exactly as instructed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.

Contraindications

Special precautions for use.
• Apply only to intact skin (never to wounds). Stop treatment if a rash appears after application;
• Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with clean water. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you continue to experience discomfort;
• Do not apply to the mouth or swallow;
• Do not apply to mucous membranes.
Pregnancy and breast feeding.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this product.
There are no data on the effect of Arnica-Phar® gel in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Systemic exposure of Arnica montana is negligible, no effects are expected during pregnancy or lactation, when used at the indicated dosage.

Composition

• Ingredients :
Aqua, Alcohol Denat., Alcohol, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Glycerin, Carrageenan, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid.
•The active substance of this product is:
10% Arnica montana flower extract.

Side effects

Like all health products, this product can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Adverse effects include mild and transient skin reactions at the site of application. Very rare cases of allergic reactions may occur.

If you experience signs of allergy, STOP using Arnica-Phar® Gel and consult a doctor or pharmacist immediately.
