Indication
Treatment of smoking by relieving nicotine withdrawal symptoms, including craving, when trying to quit smoking. The ultimate goal is to stop smoking permanently.
PLAN BY STEP
> 10 cigarettes per day
4 – 6 weeks: NiQuitin Clear Patch 21 mg
2 – 4 weeks: NiQuitin Clear Patch 14 mg
2 – 4 weeks: NiQuitin Clear Patch 7 mg
<10 cigarettes per day
4 – 6 weeks: NiQuitin Clear Patch 14 mg
2 – 4 weeks: NiQuitin Clear Patch 7 mg
Use
Adults
Recommended regimen of 8 to 12 weeks
It is not recommended to use transdermal patches for more than 3 months
Dose adjustment is indicated for coronary artery disease
The patch should be applied to clean, dry, hairless skin on the upper body or outer side of the arm. The layer protecting the adhesive must be removed before application.
The transdermal device (plaster, patch) will be changed every 24 hours and the new system will be applied to a different place.
During this treatment, the patient will not be able to take nicotine in any other form.
