NASA RHINATHIOL is a preparation for topical application (through the nose) for the symptomatic treatment of nasal obstruction. This obstruction can be caused by a common cold, vasomotor rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
Indication
You can use Nasa Rhinathiol for the symptomatic treatment of nasal obstruction. This obstruction can be caused by a common cold, vasomotor rhinitis (when the lining of the nose is hypersensitive to a number of nonspecific stimuli), allergic rhinitis (eg, hay fever) and sinusitis.
Use
Nasa Rhinathiol 0.1% nasal spray, solution is intended for adults and children over 6 years old. For children 2 to 6 years old, Nasa Rhinathiol 0.05% nasal spray solution is more suitable.
To date, no harmful effects of this drug have been shown when used during pregnancy if used at the recommended dosage.

Adults:
Maximum 1 to 2 sprays per nostril, 2 times to maximum 3 times per day.
Children over 6:
Maximum 1 spray per nostril, 1 time to a maximum of 2 times per day.
Composition
The active substance is xylometazoline. It is present in the form of xylometazoline hydrochloride. One spray (approximately 70 μl) corresponds to approximately 70 μg of xylometazoline hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: potassium phosphate – sodium chloride – disodium phosphate dihydrate – polysorbate 20 – disodium edetate – Eucalyptol – Neroli oil – benzalkonium chloride (see section 2 “Nasa Rhinathiol 0.1% contains benzalkonium chloride”) – purified water.
