Do you know what royal jelly is?
Royal jelly is “the gold of the hive”, it has been known since Antiquity. It is a whitish, milky substance secreted by nurse bees. It is intended to feed the larvae of the bees, but also the queen bee of the hive. The Queen is fed exclusively on this royal jelly and it is thanks to this nectar that she enjoys a much higher longevity than other bees. Indeed, it lives 5 to 6 years unlike the other members of the hive who live on average 45 days. Royal jelly is a rare and precious substance. A beehive produces a maximum of 300gr of royal jelly per year, hence its rather expensive price. In order to multiply its production, beekeepers remove the Queen from the hive, in order to stimulate the nurse bees to feed more larvae, to obtain more Queens, and therefore to produce more royal jelly!
Royal jelly is mainly known for its fortifying and stimulating properties of immunity. You can find it in different forms: fresh or freeze-dried.
It can be consumed by adults but also by children from 3 years old.
A royal jelly cure will be perfect to prepare your immune system to face winter!
