Indication
Symptomatic treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain.
Contraindications
Not recommended for children under 3 months or whose body weight is less than 5 kg. Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, NSAIDs or excipients. Gastric ulcer, active or recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding. Patients with conditions that tend to make bleeding worse. Severe heart failure, kidney failure, liver failure. Patients suffering from severe dehydration. During the third trimester of pregnancy.
Use
Pediatric patients: see table in the package leaflet. Depends on age and body weight. Adolescents (over 12 years): the recommended dose is 10 to 20 ml every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding the maximum dose of 1200 mg of ibuprofen in a 24-hour period.
Composition
Each ml of the suspension for oral use contains 20 mg of ibuprofen.
