Aporil is used to treat warts and corns. Aporil cannot be used to treat warts on the face or the genitals.
Use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt. Shake before use. Apply a drop of Aporil to the wart or corn, once or twice a day using the small swab. Allow to dry until a film forms. Be sure to quickly close the bottle to avoid any evaporation of the product. Always remove the old film with ether or alcohol.
Be careful not to put healthy skin in contact with the solution. Healthy skin around warts or corns can be protected by applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly.
When used on warts or corns in a skin fold:
– Let the film dry
– Then cover the wart or horn with a band-aid to protect the healthy skin “on the other side” of the skin fold.
Your doctor or pharmacist will tell you how long to use Aporil. Treatment can last up to 12 weeks or until the wart or horn is completely gone and
complete restoration of the skin. If the wart or horn persists beyond 12 weeks of treatment, a larger wart or horn (more than 5 cm²) or skin irritation, please consult a doctor or pharmacist
