The ingredients of Arkoroyal® Strong Immunity ORGANIC
Royal Jelly contains mainly water, proteins, sugars, but also lipids, minerals and vitamins, fatty acids 10-HDA (10-hydroxydecanoic acid) and 10-H2DA (10-hydroxy-2 acid -decenoic).
The major ingredient is apalbumin-1 dosed at 2.5% in Arkoroyal®* royal jelly. It is beneficial for bees thanks to its nutritional and antibacterial properties.
Royal jelly contains at least 100 times more apalbumin than honey. Fed exclusively with honey, a larva becomes a bee. On the other hand, fed with royal jelly, the larva becomes a queen and will live up to 40 times longer than its peers. Although royal jelly was already consumed in all ancient civilizations, its properties have only been identified for a few decades.
Green Propolis is produced by bees using “field rosemary”, Baccharis dracunculifolia DC, a common species from Brazil. Its composition is complementary to that of brown propolis and helps maintain the hygiene of the hive.
Brown Propolis usually comes from European poplar buds. It is recognized as a “natural shield” of the hive.
Manuka honey is a shrub native to New Zealand and South-East Australia. Its leaves are often brewed into a tea, which is why it is called “New Zealand tea tree.” Besides its aesthetic value, this plant has a reputation as a source of mono-floral honey with multiple beneficial properties, it is colloquially known as “healing honey.”
The Pollen is accumulated by bees on their hind legs, while foraging on flowers to extract nectar. They form small balls of it which they bring back to the hive to use as protein-rich food. Thanks to its composition, pollen strengthens the immune system.
Echinacea has a tradition of use, since the 17th-18th century, by Native Americans living in the Great American Plains located east of the Rockies. They used the various species of echinacea to strengthen their body’s natural defenses, particularly during winter.
