Indication

Treatment of cardiovascular disease
Acute treatment of myocardial infarction, unstable angina, coronary angioplasty and coronary transplants

Prevention of cardiovascular disease
Secondary prevention after myocardial infarction, angina, ischemic stroke or other stroke, peripheral vascular pain
Primary prevention of myocardial infarction in certain risk groups (family history of severe atherosclerosis, diabetes, gout, hypertension, dyslipidaemia)

Treatment
Attack dose: 320 to 480 m
Subsequent doses: 160 to 320 mg for a few weeks. Then move on to secondary prevention

Prevention
Secondary prevention: 80 to 160 mg per day
Primary prevention: 80 to 160 mg per day
