Cerato, called Plumbago in French, is the Bach flower of intuition

Cerato is a Plumbago of the Plumbaginaceae family also known as Ceratostigma willmottianum. This shrub with unstructured growth is appreciated for its abundant flowering. Each flower lasts a short time, but gives way to new ones of a pretty blue with varying shades. In the wild, it does not compete with any other plant, as it does not produce seeds. But in our gardens, with its spreading habit and its rich flowering, the Plumbago, despite its delicate appearance, knows how to impose itself with its beauty and its rusticity on a trellis, a low wall or in an embankment. Excellent ground cover, it can reach 1.50 m in width. Undemanding, it is content with ordinary, well-drained soil and appreciates fairly severe spring pruning to regain its beautiful vigor.

In purely botanical terms, Plumbago has bright green deciduous foliage with downy, oval, narrow-tipped leaves. In fall, the foliage turns reddish bronze before falling. From June to November, the Plumbago is covered with star-shaped flowers grouped in elegant bouquets carried by purple-toned stems.
