Benerva is indicated for the treatment of conditions caused by a lack of vitamin B1. These states can manifest themselves among other things by:
various pains
paralysis
edema
heart ailments
mental disorders
Benerva is offered in the treatment of damage or inflammation of the peripheral nerves.
The lack of vitamin B1 is caused by alcoholism or by a decrease in food intake such as during certain diets or poor absorption in the intestine.
In healthy people, a varied and balanced diet usually provides the necessary amount of vitamins.

Dosage:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years old
For symptoms of severe vitamin B1 deficiency and for heart disease caused by alcoholism, the recommended dose is 1 300 mg gastro-resistant tablet per day.
What Benerva contains
The active substance is thiamine hydrochloride (300 mg per tablet).
The other ingredients are: core: povidone, talc, magnesium stearate; coating: acrylic polymerisate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, talc.
