Cerulyx is used to dissolve earwax (ear wax) plugs in the ears.
You should contact your doctor if you do not feel any improvement or if you feel less well.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
The recommended dose is:
• If you have soft earwax plugs in the ear: drop a few drops into the ear, keeping your head tilted to the opposite side for a few minutes, then
do an ear wash.
• If you have hard earwax plugs or dander plugs in the ear: empty the contents of the dropper into the ear, keeping your head tilted to the opposite side,
3 times a day during the 3 to 4 days preceding the extraction of the earwax plug.
• If you are using Cerulyx to clean the ear: drop a few drops in the ear, keeping your head tilted to the opposite side, 3 times a day during the 4 to 6 days preceding the
cleaning by a specialist.
What Cerulyx contains
• The active substance is xylol: mixture of xylene isomers 455mg / 10ml.
• The other ingredients are alpha-tocopherol acetate, lavender essential oil and
almond oil.
