Cremicort contains the active substance hydrocortisone, a hormone secreted by the adrenal gland (a corticosteroid).
Cremicort is a cream intended exclusively for application to the skin. Cremicort can be used in inflammatory, hypersensitive and itchy skin conditions in various acute, temporary and permanent forms such as allergic dermatitis and eczema.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if in doubt.
The recommended dose is to apply the cream twice a day to the irritated skin and massage it into the skin. Do not apply more than the contents of one tube (20 grams) per week.
What Cremicort contains
– The active substance is hydrocortisone. The cream contains 1% hydrocortisone.
– The other ingredients are cetomacrogol 1000 – cera emul. – cetostearyl alcohol – liquid paraffin – petroleum jelly – propylene glycol – potassium sorbate – sorbic acid – phenoxyethanol –
