Parasites sensitive to pyrantel and praziquantel.
In polyparasitic cats:
– Curative treatment of mixed infestations by:
. the following adult gastrointestinal nematodes:
– Toxocara cati (syn. Mystax)
– Ancylostoma tubaeforme
– Ancylostoma braziliense
. and the following gastrointestinal cestodes:
– Echinococcus multilocularis
– Dipylidium caninum
– Hydatigera (Taenia) taeniaeformis
– Mesocestoides spp
– Joyeuxiella pasqualei
Since cestode infestation in cats occurs no earlier than after the third
week of life, treatment is only indicated from the third week of life.
