Iso-Betadine® contains povidone iodine or PVP-I. It is also said to be a “broad spectrum antiseptic” because it kills all microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses).

Dermatology
Microbial dermatitis: furunculosis, folliculitis, impetigo, papulopustular acne
Mycotic dermatitis: pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma, perigenital intertrigo, circin herpes, athlete’s foot, onychomycosis
Bedsores, leg ulcers

Surgery
Disinfection of wounds and disinfection of the surgical site
Peritoneal lavage, bladder instillation
Preparation of the skin before injection, venipuncture or transfusion
Treatment of burns

Use
Brushing and touching: once or several times a day
Use the solution pure or diluted half or quarter with water
