The active substance in Noxarem Melatonin is melatonin. Melatonin, naturally produced by the body, promotes sleep and sleep regulation. Noxarem Melatonin is used for the short-term treatment of jet lag (jet lag syndrome) in adults. Jet lag refers to the symptoms caused by jet lag when traveling across multiple time zones – east or west, such as trouble sleeping and disturbed body clock.
Warning: Melatonin can cause drowsiness. Therefore, the product should be used with caution if the effects of drowsiness are likely to pose a safety concern.

Use
The standard dose is one 3 mg tablet daily, at bedtime (local time), upon arrival at destination, for a maximum of 4 days. If the standard 3 mg dose does not adequately relieve symptoms, a 5 mg tablet may be taken instead of the 3 mg tablet at bedtime. The 5 mg tablet should not be taken in addition to the 3 mg tablet, but the dose may be increased on subsequent days. The maximum daily dose is 5 mg once a day. The dose that adequately relieves symptoms should be taken for the shortest time possible.
