Good for the heart, good for the brain
Omega-3s are polyunsaturated fatty acids essential to the body. They only come from food and in particular fatty fish oils (herring, salmon, mackerel, etc.). The two main omega-3 fatty acids are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
They have several benefits for cardiovascular and brain health. In some situations, food does not meet the body’s needs. Complementation is then necessary.
In higher amounts, two grams of EPA/DHA per day helps maintain normal blood triglyceride levels and three grams of EPA/DHA helps maintain normal blood pressure.
Be-Life’s Omega 3s are extracted from fish oil using a process that respects the quality and nobility of the selected sources. They carry the Friend of the Sea label, which is the main certification standard for products and services that respect and protect the marine environment. The fish comes from controlled fisheries ensuring sustainable management of the marine environment and has been subject to rigorous controls excluding any presence of GMOs, heavy metals and other pollutants.
