The oil richest in vegetable omega-3s
A true treasure of nature, with soothing, restructuring and softening properties, this oil is exceptionally rich in omega-3. It contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress and to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels. It also stimulates intellectual activity and soothes the respiratory tract during spring allergies.
The composition of vegetable oil is strongly influenced by production conditions. To ensure its quality, the Bio-Life laboratory has selected an extra virgin oil, obtained by cold pressing, of biological origin.
Perilla oil provides:
• Polyunsaturated essential fatty acids: linoleic acid (omega-6), alpha-linolenic acid in large quantities (omega-3).
Alpha-linolenic acid belongs to the omega-3 family. Linolenic acid (ALA) is said to be “essential” because our body cannot manufacture it on its own. It is therefore essential for our body and especially for our skin. Indeed, linolenic acid is the precursor of many components necessary for the maintenance of biochemical and cellular functions.
• Monounsaturated fatty acids: oleic acid (omega-9)
• Vitamin E which helps protect cell constituents from oxidative damage.
