Properties of main compounds

PA NETTLE EXTRACT

The aerial parts of the nettle Urtica dioica contain silica, amino acids and vitamins, cofactors for good mineralization of the tissues concerned.

Cinnamic acid derivatives have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties.

TURMERIC EXTRACT

The rhizome of Curcuma longa contains curcumin known to be an inhibitor of COX-2 and the pro-inflammatory factor NFKb.

Turmeric extracts are known for their hepatoprotective properties.

BOSWELLIA EXTRACT

The resin of Boswellia serrata (or Indian frankincense) is an oleoresin which contains boswelic acids, triterpenes known to inhibit 5-LOX, leukotrienes, NFkb, and slow down the action of IL1, 2, 4, 6.

MANGANESE

Manganese participates in the fight against free radicals and plays a role in the proper functioning of the mitochondria. It also contributes to the quality of bone and cartilage.

The manganese intake in the ration must be monitored in growing young animals or elderly animals with osteoarthritis.

COPPER

In dogs and cats:

Up to 5k g ▶ 1 tablet per day
Up to 10 kg ▶ 2 tablets per day.
Up to 15 kg ▶ 3 tablets per day.
